How to use Cmospwd tool in kali Linux

Today i m here to expalin how to erase or clear the CMOS password.With the help of kali linux. 

What is CMOS ?
he CMOS is a portion of memory responsible for storing the user settings on the motherboard some of which the user can change or not. You can configure information such as date and time, the parameters that define the hard disk, the boot sequence or configuration of the output ports of entry, etc..

We are using a tools in kali Linux to crack this cmos password or erase the data like date time or other.

Now we start :) its not a big deal with old cmos pattern. Because we are able to crack the password.

SO we are using the cmospwd tool in kali linux :) 
Lets start .
Here are some setups for this .

1 first of all run the tool with this command
 Syntax:- cmospwd

  
 Then it stop and a message print  Press Enter key to continue 
Then you press enter and then you find the all version of BIOS here.
which are crackable by this tool.

2 Now we are run our command cmospwd -k 
Syntax:- cmospwd -k 

Now we are insert the option which we want here 1 or 2 and our password will delete. 

But according  to my experience . says it is working only when we are login and then want to clear the password.Because when we were applied the cmos password its work before the loading  windows or just after trun on the computer its applied on hardware.
