Wireless cards or adapters are very important for Kali Linux so I give you Kali Linux  Wireless cards compatibility list. With wireless card that compatible for Kali Linux, you can do some wireless penetration or injection without error because the wireless card totally works. Now here are the tested wireless cards that totally works on Kali Linux  and some wireless card that doesn't work on Kali Linux.

I am using Kali linux on Dell Inspiron 3521 and unable to use wifi in kali with aircrack-ng.
My wireless card is not getting detected when i type ifconfig i get only eth0 and lo no wlan0 interface is found.
my laptop has inbuilt Dell wireless 1704 802.11n
please help me out this thanks in advanced

are you using kali linux as main os or in virtual box

As my main os.
I searched google about it and found my chipset is BCM43142.

Moreover i found a driver for my card and installed it its..
"wireless-bcm43142-dkms_6.20.55.19-1_amd64.deb" it installed properly and gave me a wireless interface wlan0.
Now i am able to connect to a wifi network BUT when i use airmon-ng start wlan0 it gives me an error.
Is it that my card does not support packet injection or the driver i installed is not supporting it?
Please tell me the correct driver which i should install and the steps of commands also!
